C4 Gambia

CGS4Gambia was established in 2013 to provide opportunities for young people to learn about global citizenship through volunteer work and fundraising for communities in West Africa. In February 2014 the first group of students from Campbeltown Grammar School visited Gambia to provide first aid training, learning materials, sports days and construction work.  This was a life-changing experience for us all. To make future trips sustainable and so that we are not relying purely on fundraising in our community, CGS4Gambia have set up a social enterprise selling fair-trade products.  Fair-trade is at the very heart of what we do and all profits are reinvested towards achieving our charitable aims.
